I admit I’m not a huge chef. Ok fine, I barely cook! But on occasion when the mood strikes, I do like to have the latest kitchen tools I need at my disposal to make a fabulous meal!
Ozeri makes wonderful bath scales so I figured their kitchen scale would be similar. I like to go with names and brands that I’m already familiar with for simplicity and this definitely held up to Ozeri’s reputation of quality.
I like that there are only four buttons, although I did still have to look up in the directions how to use them, except for the on/off button of course! It comes with the AAA batteries needed which I always appreciate. I want to start using my new gadgets right away, not have to wait to dig up some batteries!
This has some great functions that wouldn’t even occur to me were in a kitchen scale. I thought it just weighed things but this has a kitchen alarm timer which always comes in handy! I usually use my microwave but it never fails that someone will come along to use the microwave and mess up my timer and I don’t realize it until I smell the burn! No more! Now I am using my Digital Kitchen Scale as a timer as well.
It also has a handy conversion button which I always need! I wish all recipes were universal but since the world doesn’t work that way, I have my secret weapon to figure it out for me. The Tare feature also helps take out the guess work by letting you zero out whatever you might want factored out such as the container holding what you’re weighing.
The Ozeri Gourmet Digital Kitchen Scale is my new best friend in the kitchen. It’s sleek design helps it blend right in without being an eyesore and it’s ease of use makes it fast and simple.
