Do you have a kicker in your car? I know I do! Drives…me…crazy! We got a new van this year and the seats are a very light tan color. It didn’t take long before there were footprints on the back of my seat. Footprints! On my seat! Oh the horror! I can TELL them a thousand times not to kick and THEN they stop. But the damage is already done. This car seat back protector was exactly what I needed!
It’s very simple. You just strap it on in two places and the back of your seat is protected! One strap goes around the head rest and fits perfectly. The second goes around the bottom and required a little adjustment. I was worried it wasn’t long enough but it easily stretched to fit and I snapped it into place.
I was a little concerned about how it would feel on my back in the passenger seat but I really don’t feel it at all. You can shove this car seat protector down really low so it doesn’t come into contact with you.
Footprints are of biggest concern when it’s raining outside and those little muddy feet come in. The seat back kick protector is waterproof so you don’t have to worry about IT getting damaged.
It’s nice and thin so it doesn’t get in the way or take up any space at all. I do wish it wasn’t black because the contrast on the seat is pretty obvious when my seats are tan. I figure it’s worth it though and much less of an eyesore than footprints! And someday when the little ones stop their kicking (I hope) than I can take it off and my seats will still be as good as new!
